NORTH WALES WEEKEND

Join us from May 8 -10 for a weekend of adventure and connection in wild North Wales. Based at an tranquil off-grid hideaway, we'll head out for trail runs, hikes and dips all fueled by delicious local food, cooked by our wonderful chef Emma. Spend downtime unwinding in the onsite sauna, having a nap in one of the hammocks or seeking out one of the suspended woodland hangouts.. 

Led by women for women and non-binary folks, this weekend is your chance to escape the daily grind, challenge yourself, and connect with like-minded individuals.

Accomodation: We’ll have exclusive use of the accommodation site, and will be staying in a cosy lodge with dormitory style rooms sleeping 4-5 guests. A large kitchen and communal spaces (both outdoors and indoors) are available for everyone to use throughout the weekend. Yoga equipment is provided for those wishing to stretch out pre/post activities. 

Fitness: To enjoy this trip, you should feel comfortable being outdoors and active for 6-8 hours a day. There are options throughout the weekend and Bird Outdoor hosts on hand to support you throughout. Trail run and hike distances and options will be tailored to meet the fitness/interests of the group.

Travel to/from North Wales: We’ll advise on travel ahead of the trip taking place with the option to either drive, catch the train and travel with others coming along. 

Weather: North Wales weather can be unpredictable, so come prepared for all conditions. We’ll be advising you on what to bring to ensure you stay comfortable and dry throughout the weekend. Alternative indoor activities are planned should weather conditions mean a hike or run can’t go ahead.

Minimum Numbers: Please be aware that this trip requires a minimum number of participants to proceed. Your deposit is fully refundable up until that point. We will notify you as soon as the required number is reached, so kindly refrain from booking any travel until you receive confirmation.

Bird Outdoors Community Fund donation: 10% of all profits from the Peaks and Paths weekend will go toward the Bird Outdoors Community Fund. The Community Fund offers financial support to both volunteers and event attendees who might otherwise face barriers to participation.

Cancellation policy:
You can secure your spot with a £100 deposit, which is fully refundable until we confirm that the trip has met its minimum number of participants. 

Within two months of the event, refunds or credit are no longer available. However, you’re welcome to transfer your ticket to someone else, provided the event is suitable for them. If we have a waiting list, we can offer your ticket to those on the list and issue you a refund if it’s taken.
